Our annual JULY 4TH OUTDOOR QUILT SHOW!
|

Spend a day in Chanhassen and experience the true flavor of "small town celebrations". Each year this event has grown and developed into full town celebration. As usual there will be a Kiddie Parade, sreet dancing, antique cars, lots
of food for everyone, the oarade and of course our Outdoor Quilt Show. I'm sure I left somethings out so watch for a list in the local paper. Our quilt show is hung early the morning of the 4th along the outside walls of the Bloomberg complex. They will be ready for viewing by 9am and will stay up until 4pm or when the parade ends. The viewers will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite quilt with the votes counted at 1:45PM. A Winners sign will then be put on the quilt. The winner wins a $150 Gift Certificate to The Sampler. If you are a quilter, why not become a part of this fun show? The views really love it! They are usually waiting at 9am to take it in. It's a fun festive day and we have never have had to cancel because of the weather. We came close one year. We hope to see you there! |

Minnesota Road Show
|

Saturday, July 18, 10 - 4pm We are excited to tell you that the Minnesota Road Show is coming to The Sampler. What is a Road Show you ask? Six of Minnesota's top desogners, Debbie Bowles of Maple Island, Terry Atkinson of Atkinson's Designs, Heather Mulder Peterson of Anka Treasures, Linda Hohag of Brandywine Designs, Lori Allison of Allison's Designs, and Tracy Trevethan of Trevethan Designs will be combining their talents to create a teaching trunk show. Our most qualified teachers will present 20-30 minute demonstrations of each designers's chosen techniques, including step-by-step instructions, tips, and of course Show and Tell. A break for a delicious lunch is planned. Lots of time will be available to look at the quilts and other projects and talk to the instructors. It will be a fun and relaxing day with lots of inspiration. All of this for only $20 which includes lunch. There will be drawings for door prizes and also a 10% discount offered for the day.
